I really liked TimeBridge as well. For a free meeting scheduler try http://tungle.me. It syncs with Google calendar. Also, google calendar now has a beta meeting request feature.

For virtual group meetings with screen sharing, look into Skype Professional.

That is unfortunate. I have been using the free version of Timebridge for several years now. In education, we can't afford to buy fancy programs and I really just needed to be able to schedule meetings with small groups of IEP teams (5-12 members at a time). The amount time Timebridge has saved me has been invaluable and it fit my uncomplicated needs well.

Thanks Tom and Ricki for understandable explanations for us newbees that are just entering the online marketing arena. Where to go, what to start with is overwhelming at times, but I'm getting there thanks to posts like yours.

I own FlexPointOutsourcing an American owned outsourcing company based in the Philippines and have been in the information marketing world since 2004. I have personally used InfusionSoft since 2005 and have been working with clients for the last 4 years that have used 1ShoppingCart and ZenCart as well as aMember, WishListPro, MemberGate and the rest of the options out there.

First let me just say that there is never a perfect system. There are some products that do things differently. I came to this site because of this post about the comparison between PremiumWebCart and 1ShoppingCart. I have been looking at it to see if it would work for one of my clients for a membership website they are creating. Instead of buying Wishlist Pro and 1ShoppingCart.

Your article gave me enough information to decide to spend the time to take the PremiumWebCart Trial. I appreciate it.

Thanks

Sorry, this is incorrect:

Quote: "NOW… this is not full integration. You cannot add a customer to a specific list within AWeber or GetResponse. It is a general customer list."

I use GetResponse and you can infact assign a product purchaser to a specific list through the GetResponse API.

I have done it.

Customer A>>> buys product X>>>customer is assigned to Product X campaign in GetResponse.

It is entirely possible.

I fail to see the big deal with Aweber, it is an average autoresponder for average people.

It has no Automation capabilities at all (apart from BASIC move functions), you can do virtually nothing with the Aweber API outside of a specific list.

GetResponse is a LOT more versatile than Aweber is.

I agree, the email is the weak part of the system but once you start using 1SC and grow your list it's easier to leave it there than reconfirm all your list in a new email system.

I've set up the test messages to go to a couple of email accounts (there is a place where you can load in multiple email addresses) so I can test the different formats and it usually arrives quickly, but customer list exports and the like tend to be slow. It all depends on the server load. Sometimes things arrive almost instantaneously.

The metrics are weak. I can't find my opt in rates by date to see whether my tweaks increase rates, there are no metrics for opt in confirmation rates and you can't export all the data in the client lists to see which prospects have come from your ad tracker campaigns, affiliates etc. In all honesty I've left everything with 1SC and done very little with it because moving everything to another provider is in the too hard basket. I'm very envious of people who use aWeber. It seems like it has a lot of options for email that are missing in 1SC and I often think of migrating my list.

If you're selling products and managing affiliates 1SC is better than aWeber plus clickbank, paypal shopping cart or ejunkie but I'm tempted to change. It's big bucks for the full cart.

I'd love an easier (cheaper) way to manage everything. My opt in confirmation rates feel like they are too low. I'd be interested to know if that has anything to do with poor delivery of the confirmation message request by 1SC as I feel I've done everything I can to tailor the message and include clear instructions on the website. Very frustrating!

I have tried PremiumWebCart, and from my experience is not cheaper and in some cases are much more complecated.

As example if you want create autoresponder; 1. it is not integrated in they system 2. there no free autoresponder as they saying. If you want to use autoresponder you must sing for Aweber or another supplier that will cost you another membership fees.

I personally was disappointed as they told it is included autoresponder and until now I cannot find it or set it!

This is great news! Been researching for replacement for not only 1SC but for an email marketing system a client has. I found the PWC site and love their comparison grid (best way to market) and from there decided to research the negatives/positives and found your article. Great comments and helps me round out my list of recommendations and why. That grid & the numerous positives (outweighing the negatives) helped bring the final choice (for me) down to PWC.

I know the client will go with my choice! Again, thank you for posting this blog.
